Steve's Story

I had a retail furniture store and big refinishing business in 1979 when the big recession happened and we lost everything; houses, business ,vehicles, bank savings . . . the works! . . . in the 80s I climbed the corporate ladder; became a big shot sales guy and the right hand to a Japanese chairman but after he retired I grew tierd of corporate politics and in late 80s set up a jewelry & stained glass studio in the countryside.

With the influx of overseas jewelry I quickly discovered I couldn't compete so I went to India to find my own suppliers and eventually set up a 2000 mile route and sold jewelry door to door to stores . . . but I was constantly having quality issues with the Indian suppliers so I returned to India and 27 years ago  set up my own jewelry shop with my own workers who I had trained in Mumbai. I shipping into a distribution spot in Naples Florida through my Florida LLC with my dear friend John Cartwright and eventually our wonderful Tammy my shipping manager!!

I have been making, designing and supplying Sterling Jewelry ever since.  In the last 10 years  the India overseas suppliers have come direct into the NA market to compete on price and shrunk our market but I still do this to support my family; as my workers and their families are like family to me and my kids are all grown up.

Plus great consistent Sterling quality and a programming app I invented during the financial crisis in 2007 (my Stocking Plan where I stock stores free) keep us in business and speaks to the confidence I have that we make great jewelry thats priced fairly that sells & sells. I wouldn't be here if it didnt as I only get paid for what sells.
